Don?t ever eat there again!!!! It was the worst treatment we have had at any restaurant or any public place that we have ever been to. A waitress was extremely confrontational and rude to us. She sat our party in a main aisle way when she knew we had two small kids, 1 year and 3 years. Of course the kids didn?t want to sit in their chairs the entire time so I got up with them so they can walk around near our table. I always moved them when people needed to get by. The waitress raised her voice to me telling me I had to move the kids because she and the other waitresses needed to get by. I was shocked and angry that a waitress would speak to me in a rude such a matter. She could have asked me in a nicer tone and I would have been happy to take the kids outside. Since I was so appalled, I told her to ?go on by? in a firm tone right back. She didn?t like that and started to complaining to who we found out later was the manager. We then told our waitress to get the manager. He came to our table TEN minutes later. When he came, the girl stood right next to him with her hands on her hips raising her voice at us when we told him how rude she was to us. We told her we weren?t speaking to her and she needed to leave. The girl stormed off. We told the manager in a calm tone what had happened but he didn?t seem to care. He was just like, ?uh huh, uh huh, I?ll take care of it.? We knew he wasn?t going to do anything because he just seemed to brush off our complaints and we were right. He didn?t comp us anything nor apologize and he even included the gratuity on our bill. We just paid and left because we didn?t want to deal with it anymore. NEVER eat there again!!

Best pizza in the Bay Area. Everything on the menu is great. Waiters and managers are friendly and the atmosphere is great (great for a casual date or for the family).

Had lunch June 17. My date ordered ordered a pasta dish with cream sauce. There was not enough sauce to coat the noodles. The waiter never came back to check on us. I eventually waived him down and asked if he could provide a little more sauce. While the waiter agreed there was little sauce, he said it was the restaurant's policy to charge for any extra sauce. My mouth dropped in astonishment. We asked for a box so my date could take it home and apply her own sauce. She told me she never wanted to eat at this restaurant again. Mark, Martinez, CA

East coast transplant for 17 years now and a great pizza is difficult to find out here, more so in the Pleasant Hill. Any ways Melos has a decent Pizza. The sauce though is just bland so if you pile up on the toppings then you probably would not notice.
